Work Project #1688 Horse Shoe Courts
Fourteen Horse Shoe Courts in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco built to conform with competition standards are popular with both older and younger men and the gallery seats are usually full. The Courts themseves, the surrounding rock walls and nearby restrooms were all built by Works Progress Administration project workers.
